About the Filmmaker/Guy Pictures

Julia Reagan Dubray, is a documentary filmmaker who has collaborated on films and television for Netflix, Hulu, Time Studios, National Geographic, and CNN Films, among others. Her film, Enid & Mami, won the Jury Prize at BIFF in 2020 for Best Short Documentary and the Best Documentary Award at the International Puerto Rican Heritage Festival. She also directs commercials & branded content docs for agencies like Godfrey Dadich & RadicalMedia. Originally from Los Angeles, Julia has lived in New York City for sixteen years. She filmed her first documentary in 2007 while living in Buenos Aires and working as a bilingual journalist (and waitress). Follow her work here
